The U.S. Department of Agriculture's U.S. Forest Service unit - Mark Twain National Forest - issued the following press release:
An area of approximately nine (9) square miles near Boss, Missouri, on the Salem Ranger District has been closed to all public use. According to Acting Mark Twain National Forest Supervisor Paul Strong, "A request was made to the Forest by the Missouri Air National Guard to temporarily close this area to all public access to protect public health and safety during an ongoing investigation of a Missouri Air National Guard jet that crashed on Friday, November 2, 2007, ...
