Rep. Jo Ann Emerson (MO-08) tomorrow will tour the Mark Twain School in Taney County from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. CDT. "Rural schools are the bedrock of education that makes our rural communities great places to live, work and visit. I look forward to visiting the Mark Twain School and meeting the faculty and staff who dedicate themselves to the students there," Emerson said. Emerson opposed a proposal in the FY 2007 federal budget to sell off parcels of the Mark Twain National Forest to fund a national rural schools ...
