`Borat' brouhaha

To talk about Mark Twain, H.L. Mencken, and Jonathan Swift as if there is the remotest comparison between them and the scriptwriter of "Borat" is totally ludicrous ("Scathingly funny `Borat' skewers America and its complex values," Weekend, Nov. 3).

The bathroom humor was childish and stupid. Shakespeare was about as crude as they come, but he was clever. Four stars was a travesty. The movie had such promise and could have been good because the idea was great.
