Mike Randall was 17 when he first saw legendary stage actor Hal Holbrook perform as Mark Twain on a Toronto stage.
And the Buffalo native was never quite the same.
"I was just absolutely blown away," Randall says from the weather lab at WKBW-TV (Channel 7) in Buffalo, where he works as chief meteorologist. "Like every 17-year-old kid, I thought, "Gee, I want to be onstage and have all those people laughing and applauding, too."'
