NEA grant helps to highlight a Russian classic
Ephrata-area residents soon will be reading Leo Tolstoy's "The Death of Ivan Ilyich," learning about Russian history and culture through school and library programs, and shopping at a White Nights street fair downtown. (Fur hats and babushkas optional.)
All this is thanks to an $8,000 grant to the Ephrata Public Library from the National Endowment for the Arts being matched by local donors and sponsors.
