Henry David Thoreau's Walden, a pond in northeast Massachusetts, prompted the author to write a book of philosophical observations about the relationship between man and nature.

Bonnie and Manny Barenholtz's Walden is a newly expanded, 25-suite country inn located in Aurora. But with a nod to Thoreau, the Barenholtz version of Walden -- called the Country Inn at Walden -- also takes a strong interest in the natural world.
