A retired LeMoyne College professor who is an expert on Henry David Thoreau will pre***sent an Earth Day event at 7 p.m. Thursday at Beaver Lake Nature Center.
Gordon V. Boudreau will talk on "Henry Thoreau: Walden the Emerging Spring." Boudreau, a longtime member of the Thoreau Society, is the author of "The Roots of Walden and the Tree of Life."
The center is at 8477 E. Mud Lake Road, Lysander.
