JUST as people are talking about new musicals being in bad shape, you find a rather butch example working out in a tiny pub theatre.

There's certainly plenty of vitality in this romp based on William Makepeace Thackeray's fairy tale about a magic rose and ring, which render their keepers sexually irresistible.

What's more, the producers think the show fit enough for a couple of rising West End startlets.

The music by Michael Jeffrey and the book and lyrics by Peter Morris are clearly influenced by the songs and sentiments of music theatre ...
