I CERTAINLY don't wish to be younger but I do wish my memory were as sharp as when I was. In yesterday's piece, I called the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court "Ricardo" instead of his real name, Reynato. My editor missed that one.
This made me think twice about what a young candidate said about old men, obviously referring to Senator Alfredo Lim, who's running for mayor of Manila. In so many words, the old should be led to pasture.
