Think Jonathan Swift meets Julie "The Lion King" Taymor. Then add the type of keen-edged political satire for which the Actors' Gang is famous.

That should give you an idea of what to expect from the company's new stage adaptation of Gulliver's Travels, which opens tonight at the Ivy Substation in Culver City.
