A ferry operating from Wales has been given top marks in a Europe-wide safety assessment. The Jonathan Swift, which shuttles between Holyhead and Dublin, is one of just nine ferries given the 'very good' verdict in the survey of 34 vessels.

At the other end of the scale is a Greek ferry which could carry British visitors to the Olympic Games this summer.
