A FAST Irish Sea ferry is due back in service at Holyhead tomorrow after being damaged in a collision with a jetty.

The Jonathan Swift is returning to service after undergoing an annual service in dry dock.

The vessel was withdrawn from the Holyhead to Dublin route following the accident last week so an inspection could be carried out.

Owner Irish Ferries said the vessel, which operates between Holyhead and Dublin,had bumped a jetty on January 28 but the damage to the catamaran was ``very minor''.
