The Indiana Department of Natural Resources issued the following news release:
2007 marks the 100th anniversary of Gene Stratton-Porter's celebrated novel, "At the foot of the Rainbow." Set along the shores of the Wabash River in Indiana, this 1907 novel recounts an environment and dialect true to life during that time and in that region.
