(The Post) (U-WIRE) ATHENS, Ohio -- About 169 years ago Harriet Beecher Stowe stood in front of a stone wall, watching a slave auction that helped to inspire her to write "Uncle Tom's Cabin." This weekend 16 people stared at that same stone wall in Washington, Ky., as part of United Campus Ministries' tour of Underground Railroad stops.

Mothers, daughters, college students and social advocates, white and black, discovered a new perspective on an amazing journey. UCM and the Black Student Cultural Programming Board sponsored the program.
