New Glarus will celebrate its 41st annual Heidi Festival on June 24-26 with music and entertainment geared for the whole family.
The weekend's highlight is the presentation of Johanna Spyri's classic play "Heidi," featuring a local cast that includes humans, goats and kittens. Four performances are set at New Glarus High School: Friday at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., and Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
Other activities will include a Lions Club chicken barbecue and children's tractor pull on Friday evening, the Heidi Craft and Art Fair ...
