Davis helps Raiders rush by adversity

TRACY -- Jamal Davis rushed for 135 yards on 12 carries with touchdown runs of 45 and 12 yards, helping the Tracy Raiders varsity overcome a penalty-plagued performance to beat the Ceres Cowboys on Saturday, 22-6, at Peter B. Kyne Field.

Dionte Hicks (seven carries, 62 yards, one reception) added a 5- yard touchdown run, and Elisha Mitchell carried six times for 48 yards.

Mitchell also led the defense with eight tackles and a sack, Pablo Ceja added six tackles and a sack, and Marco Tello had five tackles.
