Lights go out as Flames torch Bulldogs

TRACY -- The Tracy High defense spent most of the night against Lodi seemingly in the dark on Friday.

By the end of the game, everybody at Peter B. Kyne Field found themselves in the dark, literally.

With the Flames leading 49-0 and 9:29 remaining, a car accident on 11th Street -- directly in front of Tracy High -- knocked down power lines, cutting off the stadium lights.

Coaches and officials agreed to cut the game short, leaving the Bulldogs with their third shutout loss this season and their second in as many weeks, both in San Joaquin Athletic Association play.
