Keith passes West to shutout of Tokay

TRACY -- Garrett Keith lit up the Tokay secondary for 173 passing yards -- 130 to Tyler Palacios -- to lead West to a 31-0 Tri-City Athletic League freshman football victory last Thursday over the Tigers at Peter B. Kyne Field.

"We played pretty well until they started making those nice catches and nice throws," Tokay coach Kyle Rhode said. "We had them covered well, and they still made the plays. There is not much you can do about that.

"Then their defense shut us down and we couldn't get going."
