Stan Wojewodski Jr has been appointed Distinguished Artist-in-Residence in the Division of Theatre at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He will teach directing and direct the final production of SMU's Main Stage season, Oliver Goldsmith's comedy She Stoops to Conquer, in April 2006.

Wojewodski served as artistic director of Yale Repertory Theatre and dean of the Yale School of Drama from 1991-2002. The productions he directed at Yale included premieres of David Edgar's Pentecost, Dawn Powell's Big Night and Figaro/Figaro, and Eric Overmeyer's adaptations of Beaumarchais and Odon von ...
