Parents join Damilola's teacher to criticise MPs

PARENTS at the school where Damilola Taylor was a pupil have joined the murdered 10-year-old's teacher in accusing politicians of making empty promises over improving security for their children.

The comments by parents of pupils at Oliver Goldsmith primary in Peck-ham follow revelations by teacher Ian Bosonnet that leading politicians including Home Secretary Jack Straw and Labour MP for Peckham Harriet Harman - had failed to respond to a dossier of security suggestions compiled by Mr Bosonnet and Damilola's classmates.
