Sir: Among all the publicity about the primary school performance tables (7 December), one school's performance was not mentioned. Oliver Goldsmith School, which was attended by Damilola Taylor, achieved an enormous improvement in its 11-year-old test results. Indeed, it registered the second-best rate of improvement among Southwark primary schools. This is a tribute to the head and staff of a school which has had more than its fair share of adverse publicity.
