Ellsworth Antiques Show returns Woodlawn estate to host exhibition

ELLSWORTH - In his comedy of manners "She Stoops to Conquer," Oliver Goldsmith writes, "I love everything that's old - old friends, old times, old manners, old books, old wine."

There will be plenty to love, including a wine bar, at this weekend's Ellsworth Antiques Show. And the nation's longest-running summer antiques show will take place in a fitting venue this year: the historic Woodlawn estate.

For years, the Ellsworth Antiques Show was held in City Hall and it later relocated to George Stevens Academy in Blue Hill. Its return to Ellsworth is expected to draw up to 1,500 antiques ...
