Nicolo Machiavelli is used in relaying suggestions on how university and college administrations can effect change in their organizations. The main tasks facing school administrators is to get an accurate assessment of their institutions. They should also have a keen appreciation of how decisions are made and implemented. Their success as school administrators depends on managerial expertise along with moral and political persuasiveness.
