Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit's "Phantom" is returning to haunt the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater, 510 Centerville Road, for a third engagement Sept. 18-Nov. 1.

The Yeston-Kopit adaptation of Gaston Leroux's classic novel, "The Phantom of the Opera," delves deeper into the background of the mysterious, disfigured creature dwelling in the bowels of the cavernous French Opera and his obsession with the aspiring young opera singer, Christine Daee, than the Andrew Lloyd Weber production.

The title role is taken by Aaron Lake, who previously won Apple fans as Lancelot in "Camelot," Billy in "Carosel" ...
