NBC's "Phantom of the Opera" tells Gaston Leroux's story of obsessive love, ABC's fact-based "Love and Lies" finds a private eye falling for a murder suspect, and on "Gunsmoke: The Last Apache," not only does Marshal Matt Dillon discover he's the father of a grown daughter, but also that she's been kidnapped by an Apache warrior.
