THIS is a screen version of Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical and not another rendition of Gaston Leroux's 1911 novel.
Besides the strong performance by 16-year-old Rossum (as Christine), the movie allows for close-ups and special effects which are impossible in the play.
But the most compelling reason to catch this operatic delight is the price: RM10 instead of over RM100 at the theatre.
At this price, all local Webber fans can truly surrender to the Music Of The Night!
