Even in his wildest dreams, the late Nobel laureate Hermann Hesse (1877-1962) may not have imagined that a museum devoted to his life and works would be built in Korea, a country he might barely have heard about.
In a rather strange twist of fate, relics of the late German writer well known for such philosophical coming-of-age tales as ``Demian,'' or ``The Glass Bead Game'' will be housed in the new museum, the first of its kind in the world solely devoted to the writer.
If Hesse were still alive, the enthusiasm shown by his Korean fans would certainly have flattered ...
