May 8--It was a great evening to be at the Carnival Center's Knight Concert Hall in Miami.

Renee Fleming, one of the world's star sopranos, joined the New World Symphony on Saturday for a glittering finale to the orchestra's season.

Together they performed Strauss' Four Last Songs, wistful and achingly beautiful settings of poems by Hermann Hesse and Joseph von Eichendorff.
