The many influences of the famous poem by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow on art, theatre, film, music and material culture will be explored in an illustrated lecture by Deborah Robichaud, Guest Curator of Evangeline's Odyssey, a travelling exhibition organized by the Musee acadien of the Universite de Moncton. A guided tour will follow.
The lecture will take place on Tuesday, February 5, in Room 156 of the National Library of Canada, 395 Wellington Street in Ottawa at 7:30 p.m. The admission is free and the general public is invited to attend. ...
