WORCESTER - "Music is the universal language of mankind," according to poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Apparently, the bard had never heard of soccer.
This weekend, 18 teams representing local communities of 16 different nations will play the world's most popular sport in the Worcester World Cup Tournament at the Elm Park Community School field.
In addition to the matches, the tournament will feature ethnic food, music, games and a marshmallow roast provided by the East Highland Area Neighborhood Association.
