ATQ continues its special issue, "American Culture Wars, 1803-1861," with two very different essays on Henry Wadsworth Longfellow; one by Lloyd Willis, "Canonical Erasure of Longfellow," and a second by Agnieszka Salska, "National to Supranational"; we also include "Politics and Progress in Jacksonian Democracy," by Naomi Wulf. In Addition, Marek Wilczynski, the special issue guest editor, contributes his essay, "Coleridge and Romantic Theology."
