Apr. 22--Sliding into what poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow dubbed "the evening twilight" of life, Harold Plummer admits he is feeling pretty confident.

The Norfolk resident retired a year ago in February after 39 years with the U.S. Postal Service, with a full federal civil service pension plus his own personal investments.

He continues to work full-time as an administrative assistant in private industry. His wife, Linda, is a substitute teacher.

And at age 63, Plummer plans to continue working as long as his health -- which he says is ...
