Longfellow's 200th birthday
To commemorate the 200th birthday of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, the Longfellow Bicentennial Committee will host a Brattle Street House tour of the author's one-time residence and his nearby relatives' homes in Cambridge on Sunday, September 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. Though Longfellow was born in Maine, he was a longtime Cambridge resident.
