Longtime Cambridge resident Henry Wadsworth Longfellow is celebrated at today's Longfellow Bicentennial Birthday Tribute from 2 to 4 p.m. (doors open at 1). The Boston Landmarks Orchestra plays Wachner's "The Midnight Ride of Paul Revere," narrated by David Connor, and singing is covered by Cambridge's Haggerty School Chorus and baritone Brett Johnson. Free.
