Aug. 26--EAST PROVIDENCE, R.I.--According to poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, all good things come round to those who wait.

Perhaps.

But Kelly Coates, senior vice president of Carpionato Properties, says he'll have to wait some more to see if Longfellow's adage really applies. The firm is about to acquire a 10.9-acre parcel fronting Wampanoag Trail that the City Council first voted to sell the firm nearly 23 years ago.
