Srinagar, Oct 14 -- German novelist and poet Johann Wolfgang von Goethe once said: He, who does not know foreign languages, does not know anything about his own. Many students, including some Islamic clerics in Kashmir, seem influenced with such a thought.

A number of well-read students are opting for the English Language course after the Islamic University of Science and Technology located in Awantipura, on the outskirts of Srinagar, introduced the new course.
