Influences
Introduction:
Those influences which affect a creative artist cannot really be listed
definitively-the whole world, the spirit of the times, the personality of the
artist himself obviously become a part of the material he creates. In the case
of every individual, however, there are certain influences, more obvious and
direct than others, which can profitably be observed. The strongest influences
