The city of Rochester issued the following press release:
The City is celebrating the official opening and naming of the Frederick Douglass Susan B. Anthony Memorial Bridge with a fireworks display, 9:45 p.m., or dusk, tomorrow, Friday, July 13. The Court St. Bridge downtown will be closed from 7:30 p.m. until about 10:30 p.m. to provide spectators a place to view the show. Mayor Robert J. Duffy will welcome citizens at the Court St. Bridge between 9 and 9:30 p.m. and say a few words at 9:35 p.m. just before the fireworks begin.
