Frederick Douglass Charter School (FDCS), one of Boston's fastest growing
schools, will add a ninth grade to its present span of grades 6 through 8
for the 2003-04 school year.
FDCS staff and faculty are anxious to promote the eighth graders, and
excited about the addition of new ninth graders.
Wanda Speede, Head of School, comments, "Growing an urban charter school
