Frederick Douglass at Mother AME Zion, a Broadway-caliber theatrical
production to be staged at the landmark Harlem Church itself is scheduled
to debut during Black History Month. Starring acclaimed actor Michael
Leonard James who starred in 1997's Harlem production of Godspell, The
Story of Frederick Douglass is being director by the veteran
writer-director Richard Haase and produced by Haase along with Harlem
native and Wunderkind producer Ron Brown, Jimmy Glover, and Davina Haase.
