JOANNA LUMLEY has been cast as the American writer and humorist ELINOR GLYN in writer-director PETER BOGDANOVICH's film The Cat's Meow. The film, which also features EDDIE IZZARD as CHARLIE CHAPLIN, is based on a shooting scandal on newspaper tycoon WILLIAM RANDOLPH HEARST's yacht in 1924.
