A recently rediscovered silent film based on a novel by Elinor Glyn, "Beyond the Rocks" follows the romantic travails of Theodora Fitzgerald (Gloria Swanson), who marries the wealthy, elderly Josiah Brown (Robert Bolder) to save her father from financial ruin. During their honeymoon in the Alps, Theodora almost falls off a mountain path, but Lord Bracondale (Rudolph Valentino) saves her.
