Mar. 17--"Beyond the Rocks," a silent romantic melodrama co-starring Gloria Swanson and Rudolph Valentino at the zenith of their popularity, is a testament to the glory of film preservation. Believed lost for decades, this film was rediscovered in an old movie collection by the Nederlands Filmmuseum, restored and fitted with a new score by Henny Vrienten.
