Q. I recently acquired a doll and am interested in learning more about it. She is wood with moving joints and brown eyes. A sticker on her reads: "Schoenhut doll, Pat. Jan. 17th, 1911. U.S.A."
A. You have a treasure. There is great interest in dolls and toys made by Albert Schoenhut. Yours is worth about $400. Schoenhut also made a similar toy circus with jointed animals.
Q. I have a copy of Elbert Hubbard's Scrap Book. On the back it says, "Wm. H. Wise & Co., Roycroft Distribution, New York City. Copyright 1923." A few passages have been marked with a pen; otherwise the condition is ...
