ARC of Oswego County will honor Freda Bowman at its annual dinner and meeting May 8 at the Dante Alighieri Lodge in Oswego.

Bowman worked for ARC of Oswego County and its sister agency, Oswego Industries, for 35 years. She began her career at ARC in 1973 when she worked with children in the ARC pre-school programs. As programs changed, Bowman began working with people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities.
