Olson receives Bustad human/animal bond award

Co-founder of council on pet overpopulation honored for her advocacy on behalf of animal/human welfare

Patricia Olson, DVM, Ph.D, dipl. ACT is this year's Bustad Companion Animal Veterinarian of the Year. The Bustad award now joins Olson's many other awards recognizing her lifelong advocacy of animal and human welfare.

Olson is the second woman to win the award, which was inaugrated in 1986. More than 150 people attended the awards ceremony last month in Olson' native Mineapolis, Minn.
