Father Courage It's Crane season in the Catskills -- at the Stephen Crane Festival in Sullivan and Orange Counties, N.Y. Through Labor Day, the 100th anniversary of the publication of "The Red Badge of Courage" will be commemorated, with Crane memorabilia -- personal papers, first editions and more -- on view at the Sullivan County Museum and Cultural Center, Hurleyville, N.Y.; bus tours of the author's haunts (Port Jervis, N.Y.); reenactments of battles from the book, July 29 and July 30 in Liberty, N.Y.; and more. Tickets range from about $5 to $25. Information: 800-882-2287.
