The testimony of one of the four youths shot on a subway two years ago by Bernhard Goetz has been stricken from the record in Goetz' attempted murder trial, the judge told jurors.
Justice Stephen Crane told the panel that James Ramseur's testimony "is not for your consideration."
The move is considered a victory for defense attorney Barry Slotnick, who was able to show the jury firsthand the explosive personality of Ramseur while having statements the prosecution witness made about Goetz stricken from the record.
