Lord Jim: Chapters 20 - 26
Chapter Twenty.
Marlow goes to the home of Stein, three miles outside of town. When he
arrives, he is shown into a vast room where Stein houses his collection. The
room is dark and gloomy except for a single lamp burning on a desk where Stein
sits examining one of his specimens. Marlow uses a revealing word to describe
the room; it is filled with "catacombs" of beetles.
