Spain's foremost writer, Miguel de Cervantes, quipped, "In Spain, the newborn babe comes dancing forth from its mother's womb."

There is no denying how compelling Hispanic and Hispanic-American music can be, as was deftly demonstrated by Saturday afternoon's concert by the Lancaster Symphony at the Fulton Opera House.

The heart of Iberian concert music is embodied in the music of Manuel de Falla, who was represented in this concert by his own Suite No. 2 from the Ballet "El Sombrero de Tres Picos" (The Three- Cornered Hat).
